Activity weekend - 06 & 07 October
Activity was very low on Saturday and only slightly higher on Sunday. I made an initial with N7AM improving my standings to - 157 Initials, 30 DXCC Countries, 6 Continents, 23 US States, 25 Large Grid Squares & 120 Small Grid Squares.

ARRL EME Contest 2001 - First Leg
I’m pleased to say that there was a good turn out for the 1st leg of the contest. Conditions were good for most of the weekend and I was kept busy all day on Saturday although things slowed down a lot on Sunday.
Contacts with F/G8MBI, DL4MUP, DO6ME and NL7F improved my standings to 161 Initials, 31 DXCC Countries, 6 Continents, 23 US States, 25 Large Grid Squares & 122 Small Grid Squares.
The highlight of the weekend was working NL7F right at the end of my window on Sunday... I would have closed down well before we worked normally, but this time I hung around and it paid off. Elevation was 7 deg an the Moon was setting fast, a few minutes later and it would have been a different story.
