ARI XII Italian EME Contest - 17 & 18 Sept
Conditions were very good with the Moon at near Perigee, unfortunately declination was low and a large part of the operating window was during night time hours. Activity was relatively low with a marked absence of most of the "regulars" and "big guns".

I made 18 QSO's for a contest total of (15x10)+(3x31)=243 points, and also managed two extra initials with K5PJR and WA5WCP. Many thanks to all who made the effort to get on... like all of us I'm getting older too, and I'm not as keen to stay up all night for EME as I used to be.

Gotaway's were DF9QX, K5GW and K5JL.

18 September
K5PJR for Initial # 209, KØYW, K5SO, W7UPF, VA7MM, WA5WCP for Initial # 210, ON7UN, OK1DFC, IW2FZR (dupe) and IK2MMB (dupe).

17 September
IK2MMB, IW2FZR, IW2FZR on SSB, IK2MMB on SSB, W2UHI, UR5LX, RW1AW, DKØZAB, F1ANH, IK3COJ, ES5PC and UT3LL.

04 September
1348 IW2FZR 559/569... Dario continues to improve the performance of his station, well done, 1651 N2UO 559/559... Marc puts out an amazing signal with his small setup.

Also listened for CU8AO (Azores) in his sked with DJ9YW. I heard alternate overs from each station during their JT65c session, but NIL from CU8AO in their CW session. Hopefully, Fred will be available soon for QSO's... I'm sure he will be in big demand.

03 September
1026 ZS6AXT 559/579, 1040 SM6CKU 559/569 & 1337 K9SLQ 569/569.
